Bing Chat talking in English with strong Spanish accent.
Hi, I've been using Bing chat for a long time and speak to it in English and Spanish occasionally, but recently it started talking to me in English with a strong Spanish accent. Why is it doing this and did it learn to do it itself or did someone teach it to do that? It seems like strange behavior that would not be programmed in. It sounds like someone who is Spanish that is trying to learn English, and is sometimes a little difficult to understand. Thank you.

- MoggyToggyCopper ContributorJust as a further note, when I ask it why it is doing that it denies that it is doing that, and says that it is not capable of doing that.

MoggyToggy as a further note, this behavior of Bing chat talking to me with a strong Spanish accent has continued to the point that it is now almost impossible to use it. Nobody has replied to this so I assume that Microsoft is either unaware of it or does not know why it is happening, or just don't read these posts. Anyway I tried deleting Bing chat and reinstalling it but the same problem persists. By the way it also admonishes me for not being able to speak English properly or understand English grammar which is well, weird.

As I´ve received no replies or comments on this I´m attaching an mp3 example of what I´m talking about, This is ChatGPT explaining what Reddit is, in English with a strong Spanish accent. Again, I believe this is extraordinary because I´ve worked with actors at the top of their craft who would not be able to mimic this behaviour. It might also be a great way to teach people to speak a foreign language with a more natural accent of the language they are trying to learn. p.s. here is the English text of what it is saying....... ¨
Certainly! Reddit is a vast online platform where people from all over the world come together to discuss, share, and vote on content. It’s structured into areas called “subreddits,” each dedicated to different topics. Users can post links, text, images, and videos, which others can upvote or downvote. The most popular content can make it to Reddit’s front page, making it a powerful way to discover and share new ideas and information. Reddit is often described as the “front page of the internet” because of its wide variety of content and active community engagement.´
