WVD (AVD) Native Azure AD Join

Question

Hi all. Not sure if this has been asked on here yet, but I see some mention of it on non-MS websites.

Can AVD join computers to a native Azure AD instance. In other words no need for AADDS?

Can you share any information if this is possible or in the pipeline yet? I do not see it on the roadmap. Plus, is there still a user voice website for AVD?

Hi, For the moment you need either a domain controller or AADDS for the domain join of the session hosts.
When Microsoft announced the rebranding from WVD to AVD they also announced the public preview of AAD join of the session hosts.
