WVD - How to Add external Windows 2019 License server

Hi,

 

we have a Windows Server 2019 as a hostpool and as it's required needs a license for the RDS to work.

 

We would like to add to the RDS deployment an external license server but as in WVD this deployment is managed by Azure, we don't find the way.

 

Is it possible to add an external License server to WVD?  How can I add it to my WVD environment?

    Hi davidsanchez 

     

    Can you set this vai Group Policy, there's only two settings need "Use the specified Remote Desktop license servers" & "Set the Remote Desktop licensing mode" you can find more info over here: https://gpsearch.azurewebsites.net/#2488 & https://gpsearch.azurewebsites.net/#2486

      With those two settings it's already working. I don't know yet how it didn't come to my mind to check the GPO settings! 😞
