MicrosoftVersion 1.2.3667 of the Windows Desktop client for AVD has been released to all users!
This morning we released an update of the Windows Desktop client (MSRDC) to all users. Check out What’s New in this release and as always, appreciate any feedback.

MicrosoftHi Daniel, are you AVD Media Optimized when the "Remote Audio" option displays?

With version 1.2.3577.0 I see
You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.376 (64-bit). AVD Media Optimized. It was last updated on 1/30/23.
But if I use
1.2.3667.0 or 1.2.3770.0 I am shown.

With version 1.2.3577.0 I see

Could you try installing the latest VC++ redistributable for your client device?

Thanks, that appears to be working now. Client is Windows 11 Pro with all suggested updates but latest c++ redistributable prior to this one was 14.29.29917. Installing 14.34.31931 has resolved this issue.
