Silence Updates on AVD hosts

We manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments for approximately 10 customers. Every month after patching Tuesday we roll out a new image, containing the latest updates.
We want the hosts to no longer be updated in the meantime because users will then be logged out of the session.
How can we silence the Windows OS updates and the Office365 apps updates

    Would suggest managing the patching under Windows Multisession 

     

    1. Handle by host pool with an updated base image (Monthly is recommended)

    2. Use Configuration Manager to deploy updates
