Set A4 (or other) paper size for Remote Desktop Virtual Printer

Hi,

We're running a remote app in AVD and some users are connecting via a web browser, so when they print it's the Remote Desktop Virtual Printer doing the work.  I cannot find any way to set it to A4 paper size, so all the A4 documents we print end up as Letter size PDFs and are incomplete.

I've tried looking at region settings for the server/user but can't find any way to reconfigure the virtual printer.

I realise this query is similar to https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/azure-virtual-desktop/printing-redirection-paper-size/m-p/1259924 but I'm trying to work out a solution that doesn't involve installing 3rd party tools on both sides to achieve something that seems like it would be achievable through configuration.  I've not found any documentation that helps with this one so far.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. We have just the one 3rd party PDF printer which we use to generate PDFs for emails. That one is configured OK to use A4, and is not being used for the PDFs that are generated when printing using the web client (the PDF properties show the PDF Producer as "Microsoft: Print To PDF" which itself isn't listed in the printers on the VM.
I'm not really clear on how Windows interacts with the "Remote Desktop Virtual Printer" that only exists when running the web client. I realise I didn't specifically mention before, but when using the Remote Desktop client (which is the preferred way to run) this is not an issue.
