Remote Desktop v10.5.6 - Mouse Pointer Issues with iPad Pro M4 13”
When using Remote Desktop v10.5.6 on the iPad Pro M4 13”, the mouse pointer does not properly align with items to click on. I’m guessing the supported resolutions are also not correct.
10.5.7 was released on May 21st. Beta no longer needed.
This was answered here … there is a beta version available that resolves the issue. It will say the beta is full, but just keep clicking through and soon you will have the app. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1669203/problems-with-microsoft-remote-desktop-on-ipados-a
The answer further down in the post “you can use the TestFlight Beta app (https://aka.ms/rdiosbeta) which has the fix (Build 5416).”

ScottMl today Microsoft also released a non-beta version in the App Store which supports the new iPads. It specifically states: ‘quick update for the new iPads Apple released this month’. Problem with the TestFlight version is that you start blank. All your existing RDP connections aren’t carried over to this beta version.
- null nullCopper ContributorM4 11” same problem. a click on the top of the display or the bottom of the display is offset from the intended click.

Same issues here. With my previous iPad Pro I had the same issues after zooming in, but with the new iPad I have this issue even at 100%.
another issue is that the taskbar disappears at a random moment during the session.
