Remote App not not redirecting local drives
Hi all,
I can see my local drives just fine when I'm in my Windows 10 Multi-Session Desktop, but when I publish the Remote Desktop Connection Remote App, only the Session Desktop's drives are mapped, not my local ones.
And if I run mstsc from within a Session Desktop, I can only select the drives from that Session Desktop, not my redirected ones.
This seems logical, and probably a necessary security feature, but... on the occasions one does want to access to the local drive, is it possible to map a redirected drive?
And/or does this mean all RemoteApps are unable to access any local drives, because they are only aware of the SessionDesktop's drives they happen to land on?
I'm interested for 2 reasons: Firstly, because we have situations where we could use AVD on devices out in the field where users need to scan and upload things. And secondly I need to know if someone with more brains than me will be able to up/download in situations that appear safe, but actually need to be locked down.
I can copy and paste text just fine though. Any assistance appreciated, I'm scratching my head with this one.
