Solved

Over the past week users have had issues with the number lock becoming out of sync.

Randomly while connected to azure virtual desktop the num lock gets turned off.  If they toggle it off/on again it works again.

    I can confirm. We rolled back several clients from this most recent version (1.2.2924) back to 1.2.2860 and have seen the issues disappear. We believe that a new feature in this update broke the syncing of both the Caps Lock and Num Lock to the RDP session.

    Microsoft no longer has the link to download version 1.2.28xxx.
    Has anyone got a fix for this yet, newest version 1.2925 still seems to have the same issue?

      and went back a month to find the direct download link: https://query.prod.cms.rt.microsoft.com/cms/api/am/binary/RWVhzA

    Also having this issue starting Feb 23rd. Happening at one of our locations to an AVD Pool. Oddly this pool is shared with another location that is not having the issue. Both are on the same version of RD

    We are also seeing this over the past week and it appears to be getting worst as we are getting a lot more reports of it. The issue started with the most recent client update.

    Also seeing similar issues seems to coincide with our recent update to the latest version for the Window Desktop App - 1.2.2924

        Thanks for this James! I somehow didn't even register looking at the client update history. I am rolling a few users back to 2860 to see if that is indeed the issue.
