Jan 12, 2022Outlook cache period or disabled
Hi,
We run Outlook in AVD with FSlogix.
Cache period set to 1 month, users complaining about it.
Can we disable the caching at all ? (after all, it's Azure to Azure right so enough performance ?) or can we set the period longer ? (red somewhere that it is not possible to change because of FSlogix which controls this period)

I am also experiencing this. I have one VM that is reflecting this behavior (locked 30 day cached mode), but other machines are Exchange Online (which is what we want). I don't want to cache email in AVD if it is already being stored in Exchange Online.
- lukemurraynzLearn ExpertYes you can, disable or adjust the cache mode:

I know on “normal” workplaces this leads to all kind of issues but was thinking in AVD connection path between office 365 and AVD is short with lots of bandwith so maybe that works better.
