MSIX App Attach - VHDX doesn't get mounted to hosts
I'm having a problem getting MSIX App Attach working and hoping someone will have some advice. I have set up an Azure Virtual Desktop host pool with 4 hosts. I have fslogix profiles working perfectly...
- Aug 17, 2021Hi,
I looked up the announcement for MSIX App Attach and the question was there also if it's available for GCC High and it's not.

Hi joeheiman
Did you sign the MSIX packages with a certificate and did you install the certificate on the session hosts?

Hi Johan,
Yes, the packages are signed with a trusted certificate and I did install the certificate in the Trusted People container on each host as well.

- Aug 16, 2021Hi,
I assume the packages are in a active state in the AVD portal?- joeheimanAug 16, 2021Copper ContributorYes, both packages are set to active. I have gone through multiple walkthoughs, including Stefan's detailed videos. Everything seems to go fine until it gets to the step where the VHDX should get attached to the hosts. Definitely acts like a permissions issue since it also won't let me manually attach the drive when accessing from the Azure file share path. But I've confirmed my hosts security group and my users security group both have permissions to the Azure file share. But the odd thing is, as I understand it, the package is attached to the hosts and checked for issues when uploading the package and that part works fine. Just doesn't seem to make sense. At this point I'm thinking maybe the feature just doesn't work properly yet in GCC High.
