Main monitor for the Remote Desktop Client

I just found this by watching processmon modify the registry key however, when I manually edit it.. It totally ignores the changes and still sets the Primary monitor to always be number '1' (within Remote Desktop settings). Side note is it actually did set my other monitor as the primary monitor once, but its since stopped working...
Anyone found something that forces which monitor is the primary?...
