Keyboard mapping problem with AVD / Ubuntu

I am using the AVD from Linux (Chrome, Firefox or Chromium Browser tested) and the

keyboard mapping for German is wrong. In my Computer (ubuntu) everything is correct.

When i type a "-"  a "ß" is used

When i type "|"  or "<" a "#" is used.

I tried all availabe German languages (Swiss, Austrian...) but i seem to be the same.

When I siwtch to EN keyboard, the pipe and the dash are correc, but then i do not have german umlauts like öäüÖÜÄ and ß any more...

I am not allowed to install software in the AVD so any keymapping tool like PowerToys is not available for me.

Is there any possibility/workaround for this problem?
