According to the PG this should be resolved on one drive version 24.221.1103.0003 onwards.

We've resolved product issues to improve the reliability and performance of the OneDrive sync app.
Resolved issue causing File Explorer slowness, especially in VDI environments where many sessions share the same host.

Anyone having issues on this version 24.221.1103.0003?

Our prod boxes have updated to 24.232.1118.0003 and I still see the same behavior. Removing the regkeys with a script seems like a fix.
