Edge Location issues
Hi,
I thought this would be a simple solution but we seem to be seeing more of it as we are deploying AVD across different data centers, especially with Windows 365 Business where you don't really know which data center the machine will be created.
We have a situation where we have AVD (For subscription reasons) is created in North Europe (Dublin) for our UK Users, Edge will then give news, location etc from Ireland, also seems to be having an affect on Sharepoint.
I thought there would be a simple fix for this in Edge.
My guess its based on the IP of the machine that Edge detects, as everything else in Windows is set to UK. Language, region etc but still detected as coming from Dublin.
There is a setting to disable geolocation detection, but nothing to set one.
Have a missed a simple setting for this?
I would have thought this was a common issue.
Thanks.

- KevHalIron ContributorThanks for that Neil,
I actually went through this and gone beyond and still not able to change its location.
Even created a new host pool in Central US using Nerdio (Nerdio does not contain the location RDP redirection setting surprisingly) had to set it manually on the host pool in Azure.
Enable the following registry key:
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CapabilityAccessManager\ConsentStore\location
value - Allow
Made sure the geolocation service was running.
Also added the sites to allow location URL. It just does not change. News, weather etc is all still in Central US.
Maybe it just isn't possible.
Thanks for your help.
