[Documentation Update] Comparison available for storage options for FSLogix
- David HoodCopper Contributor
Great timing! Am I correct in saying I cannot use Azure files for FSLogix profile storage if I am using a Windows AD DS Server to manage the domain my WVD VMs are joining? My thoughts being that it only supports Azure AD DS? Netapp would work though.
TIA
Dave

David Hood, your interpretation of the document is correct. I did want to call your attention to this information, hot off the presses, from Ignite:
"Another great announcement! Scott Manchester announces Azure Files with native Active Directory support coming soon!"

Depending on your timeline this is something to keep in mind.
jonasnilsson, this information is also potentially pertinent to your situation.
- jonasnilssonCopper ContributorYes, that is great news! because I have looked at Azure Files but I understand that it is not applicable yet for On-Prem AD. But the post from Linkedin looks promising 🙂

Thanks! We are using a traditional AD DS both On-Prem and in Azure VM´s with connectivity in between (Azure Expressroute) . Which of the alternatives would work for us?
