Defender security intelligence updates

HI All

Could you please help me answer the following :

1. Single-session AVD can be managed through intune. In this case in the AV policies, could i mention the primary source for defender intelligence updates as internet instead of a file share? Would it have any impact?

2. Multi-session AVD settings are managed through GPO. In this case in the AV policies, could i mention the primary source of defender intelligence updates as internet? or do we need to compulsory use file share?
