change user /install

On "old" terminal servers you need change first to an install mode with "change user /install". Then you install the application. After that, change mode to execute.

 

Is this still necessary on Windows 10 multisession hosts?

    Very good question! The command line you are referring is applicable to server sku terminal server. Windows 10 multisession is client based. so the command is not applicable.

      The command change user is accessible from Windows 10 Enterprise session host.
