browser pointing to a specific page on the apps screen

I have some apps configured for Windows virtual desktop but I want the user to click on an icon for a browser be it edge or chrome and I want it to bring up a specific web page. I have tried pointing to a shortcut link and i have tried adding command line settings but I can't get it to work.

    Hi Eric,

     

    for your shortcuts are you trying to push out the following URL

     

    https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com/webclient/index.html

     

    if you are trying to set it so its the first tab that's opened i would either set via GPO for your preferred browser the default homepage and actions on start up. This can be achieved via reg keys. 

     

    you would need to elaborate a bit more on your environment to assist you.
