Bluetooth Drivers on AVD Hostpool

Microsoft has not officially announced plans for native Bluetooth support in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). However, discussions in the Microsoft Community Hub suggest that users are curious about whether Bluetooth drivers will be pre-installed in AVD host pools or if local Bluetooth resources can be redirected via RDP properties

1. Pre-built AVD Images & Bluetooth Drivers
No native Bluetooth support: Microsoft’s pre-built AVD images (Windows 10/11 Multi-session) do not include Bluetooth drivers by default.

Driver limitations: Even if manually installed, Bluetooth hardware passthrough is not supported in Azure VMs due to hypervisor restrictions.
