May 31, 2022David_Tutas pcluskey is background effects working for you now?
- John_FrancisJun 27, 2022Copper ContributorWe are having problems with our Windows 365 desktops that have been rolled out to our customers where they cannot blur the background in Optimized Teams version that was rolled out with the W365 desktops.
I was told to install MsRdcWebRTCSvc_HostSetup_1.17.2205.23001_x64.msi on my Cloud PC and I installed and it worked for me. My remote desktop client is version is 1.2.3313.0 x64 and MS Teams on the cloud pc is Microsoft Teams Version 1.5.00.14473 (64-bit). AVD Media Optimized.
But others who have a later version of MS Teams does not work for them even installing MsRdcWebRTCSvc_HostSetup_1.17.2205.23001_x64.msi- m77ewlJul 01, 2022Brass ContributorWhen rolling out AVD to 100s of users do I use the 1) "windows 10 multisession + Microsoft 365 Apps" image or do I install the 2) windows 10 multi session and install the Teams Machine Wide installer separately ? or does it not make any difference.

Yun_Liu yes thanks. It slowly started working for a few test users one by one. As I've already said this isn't the best user experience for a rollout as users will try the feature and find it's not working. Great work in implementing it though, along with popout chat it's another step in getting partity on avd teams with the desktop version
