Azure Virtual Desktop Support for Personal Desktop Unassignment/Reassignment Now Generally Available

The Azure Virtual Desktop product team is excited to announce that the ability to unassign or reassign personal desktops is officially supported and generally available.

 

With this added capability, you no longer have to delete and recreate a session host to remove a user assignment. Instead, you can simply select Unassign user or Assign to a different user in the portal UI.

 

 

 

You can also unassign or reassign a personal desktop using REST API. For more information, please read the documentation here.
