Azure Virtual Desktop - Black Screens on logins - What we've tried so far

Spent the night with Microsoft, finally got the hotfix off them, applied it and are error free. They are adamant in not using it in production but I don't think we have a choice, this has been a damaging few weeks for the credibility and reliability of AVD with a lot of our customers.
What is the hotfix for? Defender? Are the Defender settings for your hosts getting applied via Intune or GPO?
- The hotfix is related to the AppX crashes -- nothing to do with Virtual Desktops at all. I think the reason it impacts VDIs more than other machines is the number of sessions logging in and logging out. It seems to be most problematic during those two phases, so it makes sense that it's more prevalent with VDIs.
Rebuilding the host pools WITHOUT applying the patch noted above did not work for us, FYI.Thanks, is there any KB or Link to download the fox Win10 Pro?
