AVD Changing audio devices?

I have some users that want to be able to select their speakers for Windows/main audio, but then be able to use their headset with Teams and other UC apps. Teams shows the device names find and I can pick speakers, headsets etc.. however Windows just shows "Remote Audio" in the sound control panel. I couldn't find any way to set the device in the Remote Desktop client to "present"/"use" for audio, has anyone else had luck with this?
