AVD cannot connect to the gateway - no changes made

We have been using AVD for over 3 years without any issues. Just yesterday we started to run into the following issue when trying to log into any of our hostpools. We are currently not able to log in and are wondering what could be causing this issue.

Just an FYI users are able to log into the web client or desktop just fine, they just can't establish a connection.

  • i have been through this error and the issue was , anti virus team made some changes in the local system firewall.
    Check firewall settings: Verify that the necessary ports are open in the user's firewall settings.

    Check VPN settings: If the user is connecting to the internet via VPN, ensure that the VPN settings are configured correctly and that the user is able to connect to the internet while connected to the VPN.

    Check the status of the AVD gateway: Check the Azure portal to see if there are any issues reported with the AVD gateway. You can also try restarting the gateway to see if that resolves the issue.
