AVD - Disconnects throughout the day
En1gma111
When you say 100% Linux clients, You mean its Linux Endpoints, from where users connecting to AVD or its the VM and you installed Linux there.
I asked this question, Because for us, We have Windows based End Points users + Linux based End Point users those connecting to AVD (Windows 10 VM). We notices that this disconnect happening with only from Windows based Endpoints. No issue reported via Linux based Endpoints.
guptapankaj8 I also have same issue with AVD. It disconnects very frequently.

Help me understand your comment a bit further please... If traffic were not bypassed, would you ever get a connection through zscaler? - Bhardwaj-vikasFeb 18, 2024Copper Contributor
if you have ZCC client on you environment than keep one thing in mind MS AVD traffic could not travers through to any proxy . You have to bypass the traffic through and VPN bypass .
- AnkurPuriDec 03, 2023Copper ContributorYes, I also tried using the URL for 2-3 days, but it didn't help much. I have asked the infra team to raise a ticket with Microsoft to get it resolved.
- guptapankaj8Nov 24, 2023Brass ContributorDid u tried accessing it via AVD Web URL? https://client.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/index.html If it's working fine with URL?

Hi guptapankaj8 , I also tested connecting to my AVD using my personal Macbook, I don't have any firewall applications like Zscaler or Netskope on my laptop, still I got frequent disconnections.
Could you suggest what else should I try?
Regards
Ankur - guptapankaj8Nov 08, 2023Brass ContributorThen contact them and inform them to test it without Netskope.

- guptapankaj8Nov 02, 2023Brass ContributorJust uninstall Zscaler and try. I hope this will have less disconnect.

1- I have faced it from home as well as office.
2- It's very good. When I click on Connection details, it always says very good. Only when it disconnects, the speed goes from good to bad within 1 sec.
3- Yes
4- Microsoft Defender
5- We have ZScaler - guptapankaj8Oct 31, 2023Brass ContributorThere are mutiple things needs to be considered also.
1) User working from office or HOME?
2) What is the Internet speed?
3) Are they having stable internet?
4) Which Antivirus they having?
5) Is there any tool installed on Endpoints i.e. Netskope etc.? - AnkurPuriOct 31, 2023Copper Contributor
