App Attach start menu woes

Hi all,

Very new to app attach and having some strange behavioural issues with it that I'm hoping someone might be able to assist with!

When I publish an app to a new Host Pool, the app takes a while to appear - has taken 24 hours. The same can be said for when I remove a Host Pool.

We use FSLogix and I wondered if this was causing issues so I've amended the redirections.xml to include the line:

<Exclude Copy="0">AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.StartMenuExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy\TempState</Exclude>

This hasn't helped 😞

I also notice that all the VM's in the Host Pool hold the vhd file open?
