tomdw Any updates to this from anyone? to be honest I have not seen a repeat since friday (it is now Tues afternoon here in NZ).
Agents still on 1.0.5555.1008 but our 10 session hosts have been rock solid over 4 days ** TOUCH WOOD **

We still had repeats over the weekend and yesterday (7/11)
We have been reverting RD Agents to version 1.0.4739.1000 because they remain stable and we disabled the scheduled agent updates in the host pool settings.
This docs page was updated today:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/whats-new-agent
They now talk about v 1.0.5555.1008, but no word about v 1.0.5555.1200
...
We go for our fix for now.

- PaulStirlingNov 08, 2022Iron ContributorThanks mate, good info. perhaps we have just been lucky but a ticking timebomb.
can you please advise the high level method of how you force the older agent?- KristofHDec 16, 2022Brass Contributor
We do not have the issue again so far.
Our session hosts (in North+West Europe, UK West ) are all 1.0.5555.1010 and now getting auto upgraded to 1.0.5739.9800. Probably in Feb 2023 this will be mentioned in the release notes. 😞 - ITCE_BertNov 08, 2022Brass ContributorNo problem, we're in this together!
We stop a faulty AVD vm (waiting for deallocation ... can take a while +- 10 mins)
We turn on drain mode for this AVD before boot
We boot the VM, we remove (uninstall) the current but also all other versions (sometimes more are in the programs list).
We found an older version (1.0.4739.1000) in a downloads folder from an older installation (We tried 3 more recent versoins first)
We install this version
We disable the scheduled agent updates settings in the host pool
We boot the server quick RDP test
We turn off drainmode
We monitor 😉- bduijnhouwer135Nov 10, 2022Copper ContributorI tried downgrading the agent but as soon as I uninstall the current version, the session hosts becomes Unvailable. Can somebody help me out here? What am I doing wrong. I did find a MSI with an older version of the agent.
