Microsoft Information Protection Use Case
A certain set of users need to re-label the documents used by them, irrespective whether they are the owners of those documents or not.
Is there a way to bulk update labels for user documents using the MIP Portal or as MIP admins?
- It is always possible for a user to change the label applied to a document. The issue arises when it needs to be done from an administrative perspective. Every organization will have security implemented where we should have standard of re labelling the document. So we need to do it manually.
- Thank you for your response. Can you provide steps to do manually? And provide best practices to avoid having to do this going forward?
