What is the difference between Information protection: Auto labelling policy vs Information protection: Label Policy

    automatic labelling strategies analyze the content and, depending on what is discovered inside the content, apply a label.
    manual labels are available for users to use to classify the importance of documents.

    As stated in another response, Auto-Label policies are policies you configure to trigger scanning against SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Exchange Online to detect content and automatically apply a specific label when that content is detected. SPO and OD4B are scanned at rest and Exchange is scanned in transit before the email is delivered. Read more at the link below.
