DLP Policies not picking up any bank account information when set in conditions, credit card does

Hello All

I am working through some scenarios at the moment and one is capturing basic financial information within emails. I have setup a DLP policy to capture credit cards, Australian and New Zealand Bank account information.

Credit card works fine and picks up all my test emails, however I cannot seem to get the bank account working, I have got so far as to make a Sensitive Info type with the regex to match a New Zealand bank account number, still no joy.

Is there some sort of trick to get this working? It seems odd it picks up Credit cards straight away but anything outside of this I am getting no results.

I had the same issue with the “U.S. Bank Account Number” sit. I ran a test in purview by uploading a txt file that had a few bank accounts nestled within the document. The match results didn’t detect any sensitive information.

Further on from this, it is now working however only from the Sensitive Info Type I created with the Regex matching the New Zealand bank account numbers, it seems the official NZ Bank account number SIT just doesn't seem to work
