Content Search Purview
For the past two days, searches in Purview have been giving errors. The message says 'retry failed locations,' but this does not solve the problem. Are there other people with the same problem?

Here are a few things you can check to help troubleshoot the issue:
- Try splitting the search into smaller searches and see if that works.
- Recent Configuration Changes: Were there any recent changes made, particularly around search configurations or policies? If so, try reverting them to see if the issue is resolved.
- Duplicate Hold Policy Names: Ensure there are no duplicate names being used in hold policies.
- Portal Experience: Are you using the classic or new portal? Try switching between them to see if the behavior changes. If you're seeing an error message, error code would be helpful to narrow down.

If the search was previously working and none of the above helps resolve the issue—and no recent changes were made—I'd recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support for deeper investigation.
