Can we get only searchable items from MS Purview and not unindexed items and what all are the things
Can we get only searchable items from MS Purview and not unindexed items and what all are the things or files and file types are part of unindexed items when we export them?

in Microsoft Purview, when conducting a search using the Communication Compliance features, the search results may include both searchable and unindexed items. Unindexed items consist of Exchange mailbox items and documents on SharePoint and OneDrive for Business that were not fully indexed due to various reasons, such as unsupported file types, indexing errors, encryption, or large attachments.
While the search results include both types, you have the option to export only the searchable items, excluding unindexed items during the export process. However, it's essential to note that the purge function in Purview won't delete unindexed items, as there are legal considerations in place.
The reasons for items being unindexed include:
- Unrecognized or unsupported file types.
- Messages with attachments that can't be opened.
- Indexing errors for specific files.
- Too many files attached to an email or large file attachments.
- Files encrypted with non-Microsoft technologies.
- Password-protected files.

(LinkedIn)Thanks for reply. I have gone through these links but my questions remains there as I just wanted to get the searchable items which can be opened when we export from Purview portal and don't want unindexed items to be exported or seen in the export at all.
