30-min Prep for the AZ-104 Exam: [Session 2: Q&A] Implement and manage Storage

I'd like to thank our Partners who attended this session from the AZ-104 exam prep series and shared their feedback and questions on the session's survey.

We've received few questions related to this session that we'll be answering in this post.

[1] Is it possible to test blobs without cost expenses?

Microsoft provides a way to create a free Azure account with $200 Azure credit and a vast range of free services for the first 12 months. You can get 5 GB Azure Blob Storage for free for 12 months with LRS replication and 20000 read and 10000 write operations Create Your Azure Free Account Today | Microsoft Azure.

You're also advised to check your Microsoft Partner Central for more resources.

[2] We delivered Azure Files standard file shares to a customer but fell through on the inability to search. What is the recommended way to fix this? We're looking into Azure Cognitive Search but won't be able to involve developers.

Azure Files indexer is currently in public review through Azure Cognitive Azure Files indexer (preview) - Azure Cognitive Search | Microsoft Learn .

We recommend engaging your local Microsoft Partner team to check all your options based in the customer case.

[3] This stuff is very interesting but:

• You cannot review later as there is no registration or transcribe.
• The length is very short for the quantity of content.
• The information is valid but how we can communicate with the rest of the audience if we need to discuss?

[4] Great learnings with the exam question examples. It's a pity there are no sessions like this in Portuguese
