Secondary ISP link missing in the configuration file of Site to Site VPN under VHUB

Hi,

We have VHUB created in Azure and under VHUB, we have site. under the site we have 2 ISP liniks (Primary and Secondary). Primary is working fine. recently we have added secondary link for failover. we have added secondary link properly. but whenever we are downloading the configuration file of Site to Site VPN the secondary link details is missing in to it.

Can anyone help us to fix the same.

Thanks,

P Anand

  • Try this:

    1. Verify Link Status
      • Go to Azure Portal > Virtual WAN > VPN Sites
      • Select your site and check both links under the “Links” tab
      • Ensure the secondary link shows as Provisioned and Connected
    2. Check Hub Association
      • Go to Virtual WAN > vHub > VPN (Site-to-Site)
      • Confirm that both links are associated with the vHub
      • If not, click Connect VPN Sites and re-associate the secondary link
    3. Edit Site and Reconfigure
      • Go to the VPN Site and click Edit Site
      • Confirm that both links are listed and configured with correct IP, BGP settings, etc.
      • Save changes and wait for provisioning to complete
    4. Download Config Again
      • Once both links are active and associated, go to VPN Sites > Download Site-to-Site VPN Configuration
      • The config file should now include both Instance0 (Primary) and Instance1 (Secondary) entries
