Setting up federation for 365 for default domain
Hello I am trying to use Duo for federation with 365. We are migrating from exchange 2013 to exchange online. I know I can't federate my default domain of mycompany.com so I changed the default to the onmicrosoft.com domain and federation worked fine. Is it ok to leave the default domain onmicrosoft? If I create new users I will need to change the their domain but other then that are their any ramifications? Thanks so much
- Can't think of any, just change the domain in Active Directory and allow it to sync up using AAD Connect, not having the actual 'domain' in Exchange is quite normal for Hybrid exchange, then you can plan for the cutover at a later date.
