Remove inactive owners from All Devices

Morning, I am just starting to dive into Azure Active Directory for devices.  I am hoping to clean up some old Stale devices.  I noticed that a lot of devices are not stale but the owner is no longer active.  I would like to remove all those devices that have inactive users.  As in, the owner is no longer with the credit union.  Would doing this mess anything up?
