PIM actavation taking too long
When I activate my roles in Entra and then go to the admin center.
It can take almost 20 minutes before the privileges are active in the admin center.
Hopefully you can in the future do something about this.

The amount of time it takes for a role to activate is one of the biggest pain-points I experience in Azure. I'm usually snagging roles because I have an emergency to dig into, where every second counts. Sitting there waiting minutes just to move from assignment to allowing me to enter the reason I'm activating the role is the most stress-filled moment of every investigation.
- humphrieskCopper ContributorI have been seeing this when activating my SharePoint Admin role. It was taking a minute or two (sometimes 5 minutes or so), but today it has been over 4 hours.

Tried most of those steps.
Step number 3 is not very helpful. Logged a ticket with M365 support, and they rejected the ticket saying I must log it under Azure support, and that is not free. - gertjanvandekolkCopper Contributor

Same issue our site with the Sharepoint Admin Role. Anyone have an update or workaround sharepoint admin role with PIM time to activate (not a couple of hours)? Thanks

KMorabiti did you found something to fix this ? Cause we're having same issue when enabling role in PIM, but it seems to be sometimes faster on some admin portal, like entra id management portal is taking effects right away or almost... but the exchange admin portal is taking like 15-20 minutes to take effect...

KMorabiti What is the change you checked on Cloud which means not limited to your on-prem infrastructure at all?
