Hosting Asp.net Core 2.0 with Https

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to have an ASP.Net Core webapi that has a self-signed SSL certificate and with hosting in Azure where Azure public URL uses commercial SSL certification.  

My question is, can I have a end to end SSL encryption since the public facing access to the https website is terminating at Azure and Azure reencrypt the traffic to my webapi via self-signed SSL?   Thank you.
