Does Azure websites support HTTP 2?

As far as I know, azure websites are still hosted on IIS 8.0 that doesn't support HTTP/2. When is Microsoft planning to upgrade this infrastructure?

    I received an email for an update of the Azure App Service/Azure Functions infrastructure to Windows 2016 with the HTTP/2 support.

     

    This update is planned from 4 december 2017 to january 2018.

     

    But we don't know when the HTTP/2 protocol will be generally available, there will be a new communication at this time.
