Connection to Azure from Powershell
Where can i find the thumbprint of my subscription ID
the connection method you are trying to use is for ASM(Classic) management only.
In the old portal you had management certificates that granted you owner permissions for that subscription.
if you are starting a new tenant avoid ASM resources.
