certification that my apps are on European Azure servers

Hi, one of our clients needs an official certificate about the fact that our apps are running on the European servers of Azure. Could you help me how I can have a certificate of this kind? Thx a lot in advance.

    Hi, I don't think an official certificate is available (or at least I am not aware of), but I also don't think it is needed. You can prove technically that the machine is in Europe (Geo IP, tracing, latencies), but more important you place the machine during setup in a defined region. And Microsoft Azure itself is certified for following their processes, keeping the data where it was promised etc (it's a pretty impressive list, see here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/trustcenter). So basically because Microsoft Azure is certified to follow their own processes, you know that the machine is in Europe if it is stated. Regards, Matthias
