Azure storage data centre and M365 data
We are using a backup product to backup a component of our data held in M365. Backups are stored in Azure. Location of Azure storage account is same as our M365 tenant. My question is whether it is p...
- Yes, it's possible.
Keep in mind a lot of Azure regions have 3 datacenters (Availability Groups), and if your backups are ZRS there is a copy in each datacenter.
It's a good callout to make, having your Storage Account georedundant will help your resiliency by copying the data to a datacenter in another region.
