Azure Site Recovery (ASR) server configuration for VMware
Hi,
I have configured ASR with 4 vCPUs and CPU is running almost 90 to 100%. Does anyone see any issue of increasing CPUs from 4 to 8 or 12 vCPUs? ASR VM is running on VMware.
thanks,

No issues at all upgrading the server. The recommended across the board for CPU's on your configuration server is at least 8. This goes for Hyper-V, VMware and Physical. That is the minimum so if you scale that up your are going to be able to dial down your RPO and RTO times. I will include the link below for the minimum requirements for the VMWare environments. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Thanks. I should have said dual CPU with 4 core on each so in total I have 8 cores. I like to increase to 16 cores. Do you see any issues?- Bryan HaslipIron Contributor
No issue at all with upgrading that CPU count sir! Hitesh Patel
