Azure data center switch
Dear all, I have a VM Windows 2012 server installed in the East Asia data center. Is this possible to switch it to the Central India or South India data center without reinstalling from beginning...
You could shutdown and copy the vhd to a storage account in the correct datacenter and recreate using this vhd. Using Recovery services, would require installaing a recovey agent as if it was a physical machine, but you would be able to create a recovery plan and fail over the VM. You can however not fall back once you do this(manually i believe you could, havent tested)
