GPT-5.5-Pro not listed in foundry?

The model is mentioned in this blog post :

But it is currently not listed on Foundry. Only latest pro model is 5.4-pro. When will 5.5-pro model be available on azure foundry?

    The announcement is easy to read as if both variants were immediately deployable, but the current Foundry deployment documentation only lists gpt-5.5 (version 2026-04-24). It does not list a deployable gpt-5.5-pro model ID or any supported regions for it. The blog’s mention of the Pro variant and pricing is therefore not the same as catalog availability.

    So this is probably not a portal-cache issue on your side. Check Models sold by Azure and the region-availability table for the project’s region and deployment type. If gpt-5.5-pro is absent there, the project cannot deploy it yet. The normal gpt-5.5 model may also require an explicit quota request for some subscription tiers.

    For now, use gpt-5.5 or gpt-5.4-pro, depending on your workload. I would open an Azure support request for a tenant-specific availability answer; Microsoft has not published a reliable Pro rollout date, so any ETA would be speculation.
