Automate data extract from VIVA Insights
Hi team,
Is it currently possible to automate the process of data extract from VIVA Insights portal? Any idea how it can be done?
Hi Jake_Caddes, my client would like to perform separate ETL jobs on the data gathered from Viva Insights (specifically on the query results generated from VIVA Insights using the pre-defined templates there) with other source table like HR data to create more meaningful data results to show to different stakeholders. The data extract is currently a manual process, we are looking at other possible methods to automate the data extract/download, any advise?
Found a data lake solution - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/solutions/data-lakes/viva-insights (is this the only way to automate?)

Hi VI_Migration, thanks for sharing. As there aren't many articles that mentioned about data automation in regard to VIVA Insights, so thought of posting the question here to see if the community folks have implemented any similar solutions before or any ideas.

When I was looking into this type of setup, the only thing that seemed promising was the data lake solution... I did not get to implement however, so unable to share any experience.

Hi VI_Migration, can you elaborate on how you would extract the data from the Viva Insights portal? Do you mean downloading results from queries or is there a different download method/output you are looking at?
