sql server migration

Hi Expert,

I  am doing migration of sql server 2012 from server A to server B. There is no connectivity between server A to server B. so will be doing backup and restore . we have availability group name called group1,group2group3. so while migrating, can we use the same availability group 'name' as it is  to server B  or it suppose to be different

Regards

Shree

The "Access" in the name of this forum refers to the MS Access application which is part of the MS Office suite of applications. It is true that many of us do use SQL Server as the back end data storage for our Access relational database applications. However, your question is strictly about SQL Server, it would seem, and not within the common scope of an Access developer's toolkit.

Therefore, I suggest you track down a forum dedicated SQL Server, where you should encounter SQL Server experts qualified to answer your question. SQL Server Central comes to mind, for example.
