Trying to figure out the cause of the freeze
Earlier today, I encountered an issue after bringing my laptop out of airplane mode. some of system began to freeze intermittently, which I initially assumed was just a temporary hiccup after waking from sleep.

I recently faced a similar issue after turning off airplane mode on my laptop. Some apps started freezing or acting slow. One thing I noticed was that WhatsApp Web, which I often keep open in my browser, was trying to reconnect in the background. That constant reconnection may have caused temporary system lag. I’d suggest closing tabs like WhatsApp Web before disabling airplane mode, restarting the network adapter manually, and checking Task Manager for any high resource usage. Hope this helps!
