Is it possible to run ryujinx canary on an administrator account on windows?
hi! I recently saw a tutorial for opening ryujinx (from extracted folder) when it isn't working, and the guys said that yu need to make a local acc for your pc. I'm wondering if there's anyway I can do this without doing that, because I'd have to redownload everything.

You don't always need to make a local account, or redownload each and everything. Try running Ryujinx as administrator, reinstalling the necessary dependencies, or testing whether your Anti Virus blocked anything, or moving the extracted folder to a more convenient directory (e.g. Desktop or C:\Ryujinx). You can also try deleting the config/cache files and reopening it. What error do you receive if it doesn't launch?

To bypass the restriction, you must run Ryujinx as an administrator and then check the Run this program as an administrator box in the compatibility settings.

Ryujinx has a feature called "LDN" (Local Wireless) for multiplayer gaming. If the tutorial was referring to setting up local multiplayer, this involves configuring Ryujinx's multiplayer settings—not creating a Windows account. This also doesn't affect your installed games or files.
